Jamie and Kevin – Save the Dates

My very first engagement shoot! Jamie and Kevin are very dear friends of mine and we did a short save the shoot for them. We did a little pre-shoot while we were snow camping, just because I had an idea and asked them to be my models. We did the actual save the date shoot when we were off the mountain and they were showered. 🙂

Jamie is the queen of craft creativity. She brought a bunch of fun props and let me do all the arranging. It was a very blustery day at Golden Gardens and we had to take many breaks to let ourselves warm back up! But I adore these people more than words can say. They are outdoor enthusiasts as I have shared many great outdoor experiences with them. Since their wedding was taking place on the Skansonia and they are avid sailors, we wanted to keep the location close to home. They are living examples of not having to choose between what you love and what you should love in a partner. They inspire hope and remind me not to feel anxious about living the single life. Life is just as enriching if you have these two in your life.
