Another summer goes by and another year closer to helping raise money for the new Pike Place Market Expansion! I spent the end of my birthday week shooting photos for the Pike Place Foundation’s annual event, Sunset Supper. One ticket for the evening gets you such a vast variety of local food and drinks, I would be amazed if someone was able to sample it all.
My favorite feature this year was from Shug’s Soda Fountain: peach sorbet and prosecco float. It was PERFECT for the HOTsummer evening, and it was hard not to go back for seconds or thirds. AMAZING. Shug’s recently opened in the market as an old fashioned soda fountain that features ice cream, sundaes, and other classic desserts. I’ve been following their Instagram and it’s basically any girly girl’s marketing dream. All the swirlys, pastels, and pretty little things. Their table display was no exception.
An amazing summer evening that included Seattle very own Mayor, Ed Murray and much much more!
