Vasto, Italy

Spending 10 days in Vasto might be a little long for my taste, but it has most definitely been nice to relax. Our days have basically been sleeping in, going to the beach all day, returning home for a group culinary adventure, and a night out on the town for gelato or granitas. Concerts, fireworks, festivals, you name any type of summer event, and this place has it planned.

The Vasto Nature Preserve is where we have been spending most of our time. One ngiht we even went on a guided trekking tour followed with happy hour on the beach. Whether the beach is rocky or sandy…it has been a beautiful way to spend a birthday week.
