Time flies. Like crazy. When you’re having fun or when you’re getting old. Or both. Or you may suddenly you realize how old you are when you’re elementary school friend calls you up and asks if you can do a maternity shoot for her and her upcoming arrival. One week before her due date, Cailey decided trekking around Discovery Park was ain’t no thang. MAJOR kudos to her for hiking all over with me, and the father Andrew for putting up with my girly shenanigans.
I LOVE how these photos turned out. Even Cailey’s skirt matched the flowers (which was completely unplanned). Cailey wasn’t much for the dramatic studio maternity shoots (which I still hope to do sometime), so this casual fun evening was perfect. We did a few staple maternity shots but Cailey and Andrew was awesome sports at just going with the flow..even when it came to getting lost in the park (oops).
Since then, beautiful Lelea was welcome to the world on July 29 healthy and happy. She was sure to make her birth much more distinctive than the Royal baby (who shared the same due date as her). I haven’t gotten a chance to see her yet, but I think baby photos are due soon!
As much as my mom wishes I could pop out a baby, I’m no where near ready for that, so that means I get to ooo and ahh at the newborns of my friends! Congrats Cailey and Andrew, I can’t wait to meet Lelea!!
